Have I left the geyser open? Did she take her project file
with her? I hope he has breakfast and reached office safely.
All the questions from a geyser to husband’s breakfast keep whirling in her mind
when she realizes that there are hundred
more questions she is accountable to her
manage regarding work. Life of a working woman is equivalent to an ant which
tries to carry a huge lump of bread far bigger than her size and struggles to climb
the wall to reach her home.
She works for her independent life and contributes to her
family income. This is the only side we look at. But, the fact is that she is
still the house wife .She still irons her kid’s uniform before she goes to bed.
She still gets up at 5:00 am and prepares lunchbox for her kid and husband. In
addition to that bed tea to her mother and father in law in time. Different
variety of breakfast is another story.
Being related to her as a kid, husband or her in laws, have
we ever realized that who is there to pack her lunch or help her to make her
office presentation. The answer is so obvious that we never look into the
matter. May be we have a feeling that she has supernatural powers given to her
by some genie or WE JUST DON’T BOTHER? I guess the second answer is a bit rude
but true. I wrote this because I have seen or rather observed house wives
turning to working woman but still they remain house wife. I don’t say that she
should not work at all and go to parties. I just want to say that we can lower
down our expectations. Expectations as in if she prepares something very simple
for lunch you can always eat it without complaining how awful it was. Sometimes
you can just pick her from her workplace and take her out for a dinner.
Working like anything at home and then meeting manager’s
expectations is not a piece of a cake. I salute all working woman for their hard
work and the fantastic balance they make between her household works. Lets hold
her hand and say thanks to let go her freedom and personal fun just to meet up
to your daily expectations. While approving a payment in office she pays all
the bills on time. Doesn't she deserve recognition?
This is for all women working and managing their household
flawlessly.
m not a frequent reader. Probably this is the first time i read any blog. N trust me this article has forced me to think beyond conventional ways. No doubt a women's silent sacrifices go unnoticed. The things which should be appreciated publicly is rather being suppressed.
